Flanked by excellent musicians (including keyboardist Bruce Katz, guitarist Mike Zito in the opening title track of the entire record and in the concluding "Memphis Gone", and vocalist Mary Ann Casale), Tas Cru celebrates his unconditional love for blues music with the eleventh album of his production entitled "Riffin' The Blue".
The eleven tracks, at times enthralling ("Stand Up!" is worth all of them), at other times relaxed (such as the excellent "One More Time") place TasCru in the Olympus of the most qualified interpreters of contemporary blues.
