Nowhere Near The Sky (2023)

Having abandoned the Caro Emerald project, in 2022 Dutch musician (born in Amsterdam on April 26, 1981) Caroline Esmeralda van der Leeuw founded the band The Jordan.
The debut album of the singer's new artistic proposition, a jazz music graduate from her hometown conservatory, is titled "Nowhere Near The Sky" and is a rousing concentrate of highbrow pop revolving around the titular singer's crystalline voice and enveloping electronic sounds.
In ten of the total fifteen songs on "Nowhere Near The Sky" the guitars are handled by Adrian Utley, a member of the Bristol band Portishead and founder of Adrian Utley's Guitar Orchestra.
