At the age of 74 years, the guitarist Carlos Santana returns to the record market with a new work attributed to the historic band that bears his surname.
"Blessings And Miracles", although showing some signs of compositional and interpretative fatigue, manages to involve both the huge fans of the band thanks to the guitar flailing of Carlos Santana and the younger audience thanks to the participation of "new recruits" such as G-Eazy.
Among the guests present in "Blessings And Miracles" we should mention Chris Stapleton (voice and author of the song "Joy"), Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett (in "America For Sale"), the singer of Living Colour Corey Glover (in "Peace Power"), the singer of Matchbox Twenty Rob Thomas (in "Move"), the multi-instrumentalist Steve Winwood (in the remake of the famous song by Procol Harum "A Whiter Shade Of Pale") and the pianist Chick Corea in the posthumous appearance (he died a few months before the publication of "Blessings And Miracles") in the song he composed "All Together".
